Spacesuit technology?

Originally developed by NASA for the Apollo Space program, radiant barrier technology is utilized to protect astronauts and electronics in the extreme temperatures of space by reflecting more than 95% of the solar radiation from the sun and insulating from extreme cold. NASA currently employs radiant barriers for use on equipment, astronaut suits and spacecraft to protect against thermal radiation and for insulation in the fluctuating temperatures of space.

Protected by Rocket Science

Did you know that PHOOZY materials and our Chromium Thermal Barrier technology was developed by actual rocket scientist and aerospace engineers? In addition, we have been featured in the NASA Spinoff program for commercialization of a space technology while also creating cutting edge thermal technologies for the U.S. Air Force.

Lab Tested.

Every PHOOZY product features our proprietary layered-matrix of materials adapted from those designed by NASA to protect astronauts in the extreme temperatures of space.

Our exclusive, patent-pending Chromium Thermal Barrier™ reflects more than 90% of the solar radiation generated by the sun. As UV and Infrared heat waves pound your devices at 185,000 miles per second, the outer layer of the Chromium Thermal Barrier™ sends them back into space, away from your devices while the inner layer insulates your device in cold conditions.

How we are involved.

U.S. Air Force -
Special Projects

PHOOZY was selected to develop thermal management and antimicrobial protection for digital storage aboard the Peregrine Lunar Lander in Astrobiotic’s quest to be one of the first commercial companies to land on the moon.

NASA Spinoff

PHOOZY was featured by NASA and their NASA Spinoff program for its innovative use of spacesuit technologies in the consumer sector. The Spinoff program follows NASA technologies as they make their way through the commercial sector.

Apollo 11's 50th Anniversary

PHOOZY was a proud partner in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Apollo II mission. The Apollo missions help develop many of the materials and products that make our every day lives better - including every PHOOZY Thermal Capsule!
